# DAY 12

The opening!

Today was the last day of our stay here in Vang. We had some small things to finish with the doors and to clean up the site. Since the nets for the sleeping tower and the climbing tower hadn´t arrived in the mail yet we couldn´t finish the construction properly, but hopefully this could be an easy job for the local people to do afterwards. The opening of the structure was at 12:00 and three kindergardens were invited. Local food producers offered lunch so we could taste different local products.

The mayor officially opened our project and there were also some words from our teachers, sutdents and Hallgrim. It was really nice to see all the children in our construction because they immediately used it as a playground. It was fun to see how they both respected the construction and used it´s different possibilities. Everyone is really happy with the result and we hope that the local people will take care of  this project and use it for many years.
